Ken Cable
Elder
Ken and his wife, MaryAnn, have been members with us for many years. Ken works for Cannon Air Force Base in the Civil Engineering Squadron, where he has been employed for 33 years. He and MaryAnn have two children. Barrett who is 29 and working for the City of Lubbock as a building inspector and Kara who is 26 and working in Lubbock, Tx as a Hospice Nurse. They also have a son-in-law, Mark, who is a firefighter. And soon will be blessed with their first grandchild from Kara and Mark in the fall.
In his spare time, Ken enjoys golfing. He also spends free time at his and MaryAnn's "get-away" in Eagle Nest, where he explores mountain streams, and enjoys fly fishing. He loves it because he can get to see things that he is not able to in Clovis.
As an elder, he enjoys serving and helping others, but most of all he loves that it challenges him to be the best he can. He said "I need to be stretched daily." His favorite book in the bible is Philippians.
